Upcoming Tata Harrier and Safari Facelift Teased Before Launch, Bookings Start October 6; What’s Changing?

Tata Motors is giving a makeover to its popular SUVs, the Harrier and Safari. They’ve given us a sneak peek before the official launch, and you can start booking them on October 6th. So, what’s new in these updated models? Keep an eye out for the changes coming your way!

Tata Motors is getting ready to launch a refreshed version of the Tata Harrier, and they’ve teased us about it. You can start booking this updated SUV starting October 6. Alongside the Harrier facelift, Tata is also planning to launch a redesigned Safari facelift later this month. The expected prices for the Tata Harrier facelift are around Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier Facelift – Design
From what we’ve seen in the teaser video, the new Harrier facelift will come with various design changes. It will feature a stylish LED light bar at the front and sleek cascading LED headlamps. You can also expect a new grille design, updated alloy wheels, and a silver-finished scuff plate. On the sides, it will look similar to the current-gen model, with new alloy wheels. However, the back of the Tata Harrier facelift might be different, possibly without faux exhaust tips.

Tata Harrier Facelift – Interior
Inside, the Tata Harrier facelift is likely to sport a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It could feature redesigned central AC vents, a touch panel for HVAC controls, a rotary selector for drive modes, and a new gear lever, similar to the Tata Curvv concept. There are expectations of a two-spoke steering wheel and an illuminated logo, among other features.

Tata Harrier Facelift – Engine
Tata will stick with its 2.0-litre diesel engine, producing 170 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. This engine will come with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Rumors suggest that both the Tata SUVs, Harrier and Safari facelifts, might also get a petrol engine option. Tata is also planning to launch all-electric versions of both SUVs in the future.
