Following the phenomenal success of “The Kashmir Files,” the powerhouse team behind the blockbuster is back with their latest offering, “The Vaccine War,” and its trailer has now been unveiled.

Featuring a stellar cast including Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, Pallavi Joshi, and Sapthami Gowda in pivotal roles, “The Vaccine War” is directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.

The film delves into India’s race against time to develop a successful vaccine to combat COVID-19, focusing on the creation of the BBV152 vaccine, also known as Covaxin. This vaccine was developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical ResearchNational Institute of Virology.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the intense efforts of scientists who worked tirelessly under immense pressure to develop an effective vaccine to aid India and eventually the world in battling the dreaded coronavirus.

Expectations for “The Vaccine War” are soaring, especially considering Vivek Agnihotri’s previous directorial venture, “The Kashmir Files,” which became a monumental blockbuster in 2022, amassing over Rs 250 crore at the domestic box office during a challenging phase for the Hindi film industry. Consequently, both audiences and industry experts are eagerly anticipating the release of “The Vaccine War,” which is set to hit screens in 10 languages, including Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Bengali, on September 10.
