As per information provided by the trade website sacnilk, as of 8 pm on September 4th (Monday), “Jawan” had already accumulated an impressive gross of over Rs 8 crore through advance sales in the Hindi language alone. This figure surpasses the advance booking record of “Gadar 2,” which had previously recorded around Rs 17.60 crore in advance bookings for its opening day. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” continues to shine brightly in the pre-sales department, with a staggering pre-sales business of approximately Rs 31 crore gross for its opening day at the Box Office.

While “Jawan” is on track to potentially surpass “Pathaan” in the coming days, it will be intriguing to see if it can maintain its momentum and break more Box Office records, both in the domestic and global markets. The Atlee-directed film has already sold over seven lakh tickets as of September 5th, 6 am, resulting in a total pre-sales business of around Rs 21.14 crore gross. The Hindi version of the film has contributed significantly, selling around 6.7 lakh tickets and grossing approximately Rs 19.45 crore, making it a dominant force in the advance booking segment.

The advance booking statistics for “Jawan” in India, broken down by language, as reported by sacnilk, are as follows:

  • Hindi: Rs 19.45 crore – 6.7 lakh tickets
  • Hindi IMAX: Rs 91.6 lakh – 12,000 tickets
  • Tamil: Rs 45.3 lakh – 28,000 tickets
  • Telugu: Rs 30.57 lakh – 24,000 tickets
  • All India: Rs 21.14 crore – 7.4 lakh tickets

Considering this robust advance booking performance, “Jawan” is poised for a remarkable opening day collection, anticipated to fall within the range of Rs 40-45 crore gross, with the actual net collection potentially even surpassing Rs 50 crore at the Box Office. Comparatively, “Pathaan” had an impressive opening with a nett collection of Rs 57 crore in India, and “Jawan” appears well-positioned to comfortably challenge and potentially surpass that figure. The Box Office landscape is certainly one to watch, and we will provide you with the latest updates on “Jawan” as they unfold. Stay tuned for more!
