In response to “Leo,” Manobala Vijayabalan, a film trade business insider, described the film as the “weakest film” in Vijay’s career. He expressed his sentiments on Twitter, stating that despite a promising premise and commendable efforts from Joseph Vijay and the cast, the end result is a disappointment. Manobala Vijayabalan also pointed out that “Leo” failed to meet the expectations and hype surrounding it. He added that the film’s engagement level was inconsistent, leading to moments of boredom that affected the overall viewing experience. Comparatively, the film fell short of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous works like “Vikram” and “Kaithi,” marking it as the weakest entry in Kanagaraj’s career, ultimately characterizing it as a mediocre effort.

A user on Twitter shared a no-spoiler review of “Leo,” praising its first half for its realistic storytelling, pacing, and brutal violence. They described it as an absolute banger. The second half, according to the user, was filled with exciting commercial moments and surprises, indicating the potential for the film to become an industry hit.

Another Twitter user, who identified themselves as being from North India, expressed admiration for Vijay, stating that he is a hero for the whole world and gave the film a perfect score of five out of five points. In contrast, a different individual shared a less favorable opinion, describing the film as a disappointing drama and apologizing to Vijay’s fans. These varied reactions highlight the diverse responses the movie has generated.

A viewer made a comparison between “Jailer” and “Leo,” emphasizing that “Leo” is packed with mass scenes, making it superior to “Jailer,” which has only 5 or 6 mass scenes. This indicates the high-intensity and action-packed elements that the film has to offer.

Additionally, some visuals and snippets from the early morning screenings of “Leo” have surfaced on social media, adding to the buzz and excitement around the film.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, “Leo” stars Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, and Sanjay Dutt, making it a highly anticipated action film that has generated considerable attention.
