In the heart of Uttar Pradesh, hailing from Pratapgarh, the Mishra family has achieved an extraordinary milestone as all four siblings successfully cracked the most competitive exams to attain the esteemed positions of IAS and IPS officers. Leading the way, Yogesh Mishra, a trailblazer in the family, secured his place as an IAS officer in 2013, setting an inspiring precedent. Following closely in his footsteps, his sister, Madhavi Mishra, also joined the ranks of the IAS in 2015.

The family’s remarkable journey continued as the eldest sister, Kshama Mishra, persevered through four attempts to pass the exam in 2016, emerging as an IPS officer. Not to be outdone, the younger brother, Lokesh Mishra, ardently pursued his goal and ultimately achieved his dream of becoming an IAS official. Their collective achievements serve as a testament to their dedication and resilience, marking the Mishra family as an exemplar of success in the field of civil services.

The Mishra siblings have gone on to excel in their respective roles within the civil services. Kshama Mishra currently holds the esteemed position of Commandant at the State Police Line in Bangalore, contributing significantly to law enforcement. Yogesh Mishra, an IAS officer, has found his place of service at the Ordnance Factory, where his contributions are invaluable. Madhavi Mishra serves as the Deputy Commissioner in the Jharkhand district of Ramgarh, making a positive impact on local governance. Lokesh Mishra, who holds an engineering degree from IIT Delhi, shares a similar educational background with Yogesh, having completed sociology as an elective. Lokesh is currently serving as the District Collector and Magistrate (DCC) in the Jharkhand district of Koderma.

Remarkably, all four siblings achieved their IAS and IPS positions within a span of just three years, a remarkable feat that stands as a testament to their dedication and perseverance.
