Al Nassr Secures Thrilling 4-3 Victory Against Al-Ahli

In an exciting football match at Riyadh’s Al-Awwal Park, Al Nassr secured a thrilling 4-3 victory against their rivals, Al-Ahli, in the Saudi Professional League’s seventh round.

This win boosted Al-Nassr to the fifth position in the league with 15 points, putting them ahead of Al-Ahli based on goal difference. They also extended their lead over the league leaders, Al-Ittihad, to a solid three points.

Al-Nassr has been on fire this season, winning seven consecutive matches, five in the league and two in Asia. They have scored an impressive 27 goals and only conceded six during this remarkable winning streak.

Before this crucial match, Al-Nassr had a significant victory over Persepolis in Tehran, winning 2-0 in the AFC Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo, one of Al-Nassr’s star players, expressed his excitement about the game, highlighting their early two-goal lead and the joy of winning for their fans. He emphasized his love for football and his dedication to continue playing and contributing to the team.

The match was filled with excitement and high-quality play, with Sadio Mané making a brilliant pass to Ronaldo, who scored an elegant goal just five minutes into the game, setting the tone for Al-Nassr’s victory.

In the game, Ronaldo had a close opportunity to score another goal when he received a precise cross from Brazilian player Anderson Talisca. However, his shot narrowly missed the target in the 9th minute.

But Al-Nassr continued to dominate the match. Aymeric Laporte, a Spanish defender, made a perfect header to Talisca, who scored with a header from the far post in the 17th minute.

As the game progressed, Al-Ahli started finding their rhythm. Frank Kessié, an Ivorian midfielder, took advantage of a through-ball, dribbled past defenders, and scored a goal in the 30th minute.

Later in the first half, Ronaldo had a chance to score from a direct free-kick on the edge of the box, but Edouard Mendy, the Senegalese goalkeeper, made an impressive save in the 45th minute.

Just before halftime, Al-Ahli had a great opportunity to equalize the score. Spanish midfielder Gabri Veiga showed incredible footwork in the box, but an Al-Nassr defender blocked the chance.

However, Al-Ahli’s missed opportunity proved costly, as Al-Nassr extended their lead shortly after. Talisca controlled the ball at the edge of the box and scored a powerful left-footed strike that hit the crossbar before going into the net in the 45+6th minute.

In the early second half, a penalty was awarded to Al-Ahli’s Bassam Al-Hurigi after he was fouled by Talisca. Algerian player Riyad Mahrez confidently converted the penalty in the 49th minute.

After missing an opportunity to score his fourth goal one-on-one with the goalkeeper, Mané shot the ball high in the 51st minute. But shortly after, Ronaldo scored his second goal. Talisca passed the ball to Ronaldo, who skillfully dribbled past a defender and shot low with his left foot from outside the box, scoring in the 52nd minute.

With this goal, Ronaldo solidified his position as the top scorer in the league with nine goals, leading by three goals over his teammate Mané and Al-Hilal’s Salem Al-Dosari, who both have six goals.

Al-Ahli tried to make a comeback but couldn’t get past the goalkeeper, even when Brazilian striker Firmino had a header opportunity in the 65th minute.

Saudi national team striker Feras Al Brikan, who came in as a substitute in the second half, managed to score two minutes before the end of the game, taking advantage of a pass from Mahrez.

The referee added 10 minutes of stoppage time, making the game intense, but despite their efforts, Al-Ahli couldn’t secure more than a point, even hitting the crossbar in the final moments.
